Learning to write some words of Portuguese in English

1st Rule

All Portuguese words ending in “dade", withdraws the “dade" and place "ty".

Exemple: Cidade change to City Simplicidade a Simplicity Naturalidade a Naturality Capacidade a Capacity

2nd Rule:

For all words ending in “ção” withdraws the “ção” and place “tion”.

Exemple: Nação = Nation Observação = Observation Sensação = Sensation

3rd Rule:

For adverbs ending in “mente" withdraws the “mente" and add "lly" if the group already have a "l" only adds up "ly".

Exemple: geneticamente = genetically Oralmente = Orally

4th Rule

For words ending in “ência" withdraws the “ência" and place "Ence".

Exemple: Essência = Essence Frequencia = Frequence

5th Rule

Words ending in AL remain equal.

Exemple: Natural = Natural Total = Total Fatal = Fatal
