• 32 women enrolled in the program• 8 women committed their lives to Christ; 2 rededicated their lives to Him• 52% of clients experienced family reconciliation, a strong indicator of growth and healing• Introduced Accountability Team Meetings (ATMs) to help create an environment that’s safe, both emotionally and physically.• Introduced self-evaluations, or group discussions that increase awareness of the motivations triggering a person’s actions• Introduced an 8-week internship to provide employment training and to help a woman transition into the work place

Increase in Campers from Partnering Churches

At Teen Haven, we recognize the value of partnering with urban churches to increase the impact of our ministry among urban youth. For the last several years, we have been partnering with many churches in both our city programming and at camp. One of our goals is to increase the percentage of teens coming to camp through these partnerships.

• Partnership with the Lancaster County Coalition to End Homelessness through representation on each of the Coalition’s seven action teams

Top 10 factors Contributing to Homelessness (by numbers of self-reports)

Residential Recovery Program• 241 men were equipped with tools to avoid relapse, better navigate relationships and move out of homelessness• 16 men graduated from the recovery program• 10 graduates and alumni are attending college (compared to 4 in 2008)

Learning and Career Center• 65 clients were equipped through classes for General Equivalency Diplomas, computer literacy, money manage-ment or employment readiness• 26 individual subject tests were passed towards clients earning their general equivalency diploma • 10 clients completed career development training through our partnership with Career Link

Providing Christian Health Care (Water Street Health Services)Lancaster and Lebanon Counties

• Launched a partnership with Lebanon Rescue Mission to operate and manage the Lebanon Free Clinic, a clinic providing health services at no cost to the uninsured in Lebanon County.

• 43% of patients requested care due to economic situations, according to patient survey

• 12,680 Volunteer hours valued at $306,836

• 75 students enrolled in 2008/2009 school year• 24 students committed their lives to Jesus Christ • 83% of students demonstrated the ability to pray• 97% of students received 85-95% of their tuition in scholarships from the Water Street Ministries Scholarship Fund • $14,000 in scholarships was awarded to nine alumni of Wonder Club to continue their education at Christian schools • 69% of pre-kindergarteners and 86% of kindergarteners were at or above the age appropriate levels for Lan-guage and Literacy • 89% of pre-kindergarteners and 50% of kindergarteners were at or above the age appropriate levels for math-ematical concepts

As a non-profit organization, Water Street Ministries is exempt from property taxes on the properties we occupy that are involved in ministry. However, we are certainly very grateful for the services provided by our municipali-ties and school districts. Last year we again were able to make generous contributions to them.
