Acquisitions Distributions
• Strike teams assessment over next two weeks
• Assessment is statewide, focusing on nursing homes where COVID-19 has been detected
• Department of Social and Health Services is coordinating
• Dashboard and reporting system to come
• Some COVID-positive only facilities may be identified

Draft interpretive guidelines about Governor’s proclamation restricting non-urgent procedures will be circulated to hospital CMOs and CNOs tomorrow (Tuesday)

Long-Term Care joint letter to Adm. Bono:
• Prioritize PPE for long term care facilities
• Prioritize testing for long term care facilities
• Improve data collection
• Provide clear and uniform guidance about how to care for COVID
patients (alternative care sites, specialized capacity, cohorting)
Significant legislative interest in this topic
Request for Modification of Non-Urgent Procedures Order
• Patient impacts growing

• Requests to state:
o Interpretive guidance on current order
o Elective surgery triage suggestions based
on evolving COVID-19 and other pandemic
threat levels

I hereby prohibit all hospitals, ambulatory surgical facilities, dental, orthodontic and endodontic offices in Washington State from providing health care services, procedures, and surgeries that, if delayed, are not anticipated to cause harm to the patient within the next three months, with exceptions and as provided below.
This does not include outpatient visits delivered in hospital based clinics.
