Written analysis of opening sequence

I.robot

While viewing the opening sequence of this movie I noticed that the first thing show was the institution that the movie was made by and in this case it is 20th century fox then in association with media stream and then the title of the movie and does not show the titles of any of the actors in the opening sequence though it does have quite a widely known actor in this movie (will smith) and instead starts the story for the movie with a robot grabbing someone out of a car and shows the rules of robots Editing is used in this opening sequence a lot as it is constantly switching between CGI titles and real footage including CGI and keeps jumping between titles and parts of action in the scene

Mise en sceneThe initial setting for this title sequence is underwater as it relates to the story and the color is dark as it is night and under deep water with low lighting to set the scene for the movie and keep the viewer interested in the movie

CameraAn actual camera shot is hardly used in this title sequence and most of it is cgi titles but when camera is used in this opening sequence it is frantic and panning quickly like watching through someone’s point of view when the accident in this movie is happening

Minor string Sounds are used in this to build suspense between the actual camera scenes and over the titles of the movie while sound effects are being played during the titles
