Love bug
Writing
Clock
Thanks for choosing these love bug Valentine’s Day crafts. There are a few options to choose from. You can make an “I love…” writing love bug or a clock
love bug. You may also choose between making a paper clock love bug or a printable love bug. I printed the love bugs on colored paper, but you could also
paint the templates or color them in.

Instructions
Print either the clock or writing templateClock love bug - print the clock template, write the numbers 1 to 12 in the
circles, color and cut.Writing love bug – write about the things you love on the lines, color and cut.Bug construction - Glue the clock or writing circle onto the center of the bug body template. Use a marker to draw a face on the head template.
Then glue on the love heart antennae and attach the head to the top of the body. Next attach the bug wings to the top sides of the bug body. If making
a clock, use a split pin to attach the clock hands in the center.Paper plate bug– paint two paper plates, one plain and one with spots. Cut the one with spots in half to use as the wings. You can also glue on paper
spots as an alternative to painting the spots.Printable bug body – print the bug body, bug wings and bug spots on a
variety of colored paper or cardstock. I tend to cut the spots freehand out of folded paper to save time, but the spot template is available if you
need it. You may also opt to color in or paint the spots instead of gluing them on. Cut the spot template in half to make the wings.
