I want to find out why.Summary:My paper will look at the different sides to the issues of illegal immigrationin the U.S. and focus particularly on the plan to build a Mexican borderwall. After looking at the evidence, I will formulate a thesis about whetheror not the border wall is a good idea and if it seems like it will work.Preliminary Thesis:At the moment, I suspect the boarder wall will not be effective in keepingout Mexicans. I think it may not be a good idea and may be a waste ofmoney.Sources: www.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Mexico_barrier 5. What do you think of Mintings research paper proposal? What works? Its anepidemic and the government keeps covering it up.Summary:I want to get behind the cover-up and expose the lies the government isperpetrating on the American public.Preliminary Thesis:Alien abductions are real and the government doesnt want us to knowabout them.Sources:www.sightings.orgwww.Iwant2believe.com/articles/pdf-655s 9. What do you think of Colbys research paper proposal? What works? What doesnt?Would you pass it?Pass it with revisions?Instruct him to come up with a new topic entirely? 10. So if you find you are reworking your proposal, whatareas will you want to focus on? Here is a list: Dont write a report, you need to move beyond just findingfacts and reciting them. You need a topic where you cantake a position and defend it. Have a preliminary thesis argument, but be willing to shiftyour position as facts emerge. Stick to a topic thats limited enough to fit in 10-15pages. Dont write about something for which there may be noscholarly evidence to use or where it will be very difficult tofind. Work on finding legitimate scholarly sources! 11. Thank you, thank you very much! END
