Saturday 23rd June 2019 Dear Diary, Today has been the best day ever! This morning I woke up and I felt refreshed. I had slept for 10 hours! Can you believe it? I ran downstairs as I smelt pancakes cooking. Mom never cooks pancakes, so I knew it must have been a special day! When I walked into the kitchen, my whole family shouted “Surprise!”. Then I remembered, ITS MY BIRTHDAY! I was so excited, I knew I was going to have a great day! When I got to school, I felt so loved. I got so many presents from my classmates, my favourite was a big, green dinosaur. After my lessons, we all went to the park to play football. My team even won! And, I scored a goal! Woohoo!! Later, when I got home, we had chocolate cake. It was delicious! Finally, I was exhausted, so I came up to bed. I am so happy and tired now. Talk to you tomorrow, George
