Wright Photo and Video – Wedding Contract

AGREEMENT:

This agreement is between Wright Photo and Video

TIME:

Official time begins upon commencement of shooting (bride’s preparations, etc.) or one hour prior to

the scheduled ceremony (when we set up cameras, microphones, etc.) whichever is earliest, and time

shall run continuously until departing of the event location. If the total time exceeds the time

contracted for, extra charges will apply at the rate of $100/hour.

CANCELLATIONS:

If the Photographer is unable to perform due to fire or other casualty, strike, or other cause beyond the

control of the parties, or due to the Photographer’s illness or injury, then the Photographer shall return

the deposit to the Client but shall have no further liability with respect to this agreement. This

limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that images are lost through equipment malfunction,

lost in the mail or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the Photographer. In the event

that the Photographer fails to perform for any other reason, the Photographer shall not be liable for any

amount in excess of the Photographer’s fee.

In the event of a postponement or cancellation of this contract by the client, so long as a minimum of

thirty days notice is given to Wright Photo and Video, the deposit paid may be used for any future

event up to one year past the date of this contract, providing Wright Photo and Video has no other

obligations for the future date. After that time, all deposits will be forfeited to Wright Photo and

Video. If Client gives less than thirty days notice of cancellation or postponement, Wright Photo and

Video retains the deposit for this event.

CEREMONY AND FORMALS:

The Photographer(s) and Videographer(s) will document the events in a candid manner and take

formal portraits as necessary (If this contract is for both photography and videography) . The client

should provide a full list of formal photographs required including names and relationship to the client.

Prior to or during the event, the Client may inform the photographer of subjects which they would like

photographed, but the final content of the images is at the discretion of the Photographer. This also

applies to the final content of the Video DVD.

The Client will ensure that the guests at the event do not interfere with the

Photographer’s and/or Videographer’s work.

When using digital photography, the photographer(s) and/or videographers will be under no obligation

to display the images while the event is still underway.

RIGHTS:

Client warrants that he/she has the legal rights to anything Wright Photo and Video will videotape,

including photos, music or other materials supplied by the client for use in this video, and that use will

be limited to viewing by friends and family.

Wright Photo and Video retains the copyright to the images and video and may use them for display,

promotion, publication or any other purposes, and gives same rights to client. A Permission to Print

photos form is included with all Photo CD’s to the client. If client prefers exclusive rights, he/she

agrees to pay an additional fee of $500 before the wedding date.

CHANGES: The Client has had opportunity to critically view samples of Wright Photo and Video’s

work and has retained Wright Photo and Video as the exclusive Photographer and/or Videographer to

cover this event. The Client grants Wright Photo and Video full production and editorial control

regarding all aspects of this production and postproduction.

Any changes requested by the Client after the final Photo CD and/or Video DVD is received by the

Client shall be billed at $50 per hour. Such changes must be requested by email or other written form,

within 72 hours of receipt of final Photo CD and/or Video DVD.

Wright Photo and Video takes utmost care with respect to the exposure, sound capture, editing,

duplication and delivery of the photo and video products and services offered. However, in the event

Wright Photo and Video fails to comply with the terms of this contract due to any event or act, Wright

Photo and Video’s liability is limited to the refund of monies paid to Wright Photo and Video.

PRODUCTION MATERIALS:

Wright Photo and Video must receive photos, music, checklists, and any other materials required for

the completion of the production by the wedding day. Production may proceed without such materials

if not supplied by this time and Client agrees to accept the necessary changes in the production as a

result.

TRAVEL:

There is no travel fee within a 50 mile radius of Coeur d’Alene, ID, unless there are multiple trips

requested by the Client. For all other travel, a mileage fee of fifty cents per mile for each trip made by

Wright Photo and Video will be charged and immediately payable by Client for every mile outside of a

fifty mile radius from Coeur d’Alene, ID. Travel for location weddings must be agreed upon and

included in a written addendum to this agreement.

DESCRIPTION:

Wedding Packages: (all CD’s and DVD’s available to Client no later than 4 weeks after ceremony)

Package A: Photography only. This package includes photos one hour before the ceremony, actual

ceremony, formals, and reception (up to a total of 5 hours on location). A selection of the best photos

of the event will be photo retouched and saved on CD for Client to make enlargements of. The CD

will also include a set of 4x6 proofs of all photos on the CD. Wright Photo and Video is not

responsible for any other prints with this Package. $700

Package B: Photography and limited video for the purpose of Wedding Highlights DVD. This

package includes everything in Package A and also includes 2 DVD’s of photo slideshow with video

highlights. This package does not include full video coverage of the ceremony, and video content is at

the discretion of Wright Photo and Video. $800

Package C: Video Only. 2 camera coverage of ceremony, preps and reception, up to 5 hours on

location. Includes 2 DVD’s of ceremony in full, plus highlights of preps and reception. $700

Package D: Video plus limited photo coverage. This includes everything in Package C, as well as 2

additional DVD Video Highlights slideshow that will include video highlights and photos taken by an

assistant photographer. This package does not include full photography coverage of the ceremony, and

photo content is at the discretion of Wright Photo and Video. This package can also include photos

provided by the Client as well. (see PRODUCTION MATERIALS above). $800

Package E: This package includes everything offered in both Package A and C (5 hours total

coverage), plus 2 Highlights DVD’s of the best Video and Photo moments. $1200

(additional CD or DVD copies are $15 per copy, up to 10 copy max, and do not include 4x6 proofs.)

Note: Any extra time over the 5 hours on location agreement will be an extra $100 per hour

PAYMENT: Deposit is half the amount of the package selected by the client and must be paid at least

two weeks prior to the ceremony. The remaining balance must be paid upon receipt of the photo CD’s

and/or Video DVD’s. Please note the CHANGES section previously mentioned in this contract, as

Wright Photo and Video cannot keep huge video files on our computer longer than 10 days after

receipt of the final CD’s and or DVD’s.

AUTHORIZATION:

We agree to the terms and conditions above and further agree to give non-exclusive rights to this video

and/or photos to Wright Photo and Video, to reuse in promotion of their business or in any way they

see fit, in any format or media that currently or may eventually exist, however we retain the rights to

also make copies and use this video and/or photos in any way we see fit.
