Neutralising the Electrolyte : Phosphoric Acid : ( H3PO4 - 85% food grade )

Safety proceedures must be adhered to when using neutralising chemicals.

click here to view standards This neutralisation can be carried out by various different alkalis, the most effective is usually Sodium Carbonate. Sodium Carbonate does not require any special handling or storage conditions as it is classified as an irritant product. The superior buffering capacity of Sodium Carbonate will buffer the neutralised liquids at approximately pH12 and will not produce any 'run-away' alkalinity. All the products of the neutralisation process with Sodium Carbonate are soluble in water.

ENSITECH - blue and grey plastic with handle models

DINSE CABLE SOCKET method.

CUT ENSITECH CABLES 200mm from plug on both brush and work lead.

Attach DINSE SOCKET to cable on both leads.

WP SYSTEM BRUSH and WORK dinse plug will connect directly to dinse sockets.

CHANGES 'B'

ENSITECH - blue and grey plastic with handle models

REMOVE FRONT PANEL and replace with CHANGEOVER PANEL.

THERE is one pcb connector to unplug and re-plug on panel pcb.

THERE are three nuts to remove and replace for the brush , work connections and

the earth connection.

TAKE NOTE of which connection the cables have been disconnected from.

REPLACE these cables to the same on the exchange panel.


BRUSH SIZES

KEEP to the brush sizes as per chart for the different machine models.

GOING above these will only give you a shorter operating time because of

either duty cycle ( over temperature ) or over load shutdown.

Some of the ensitech system panel sockets were not made correctly.

May help to get a pair of pliers and turn the ensitech connectors for a firm connection

General information for using WP system brushes


OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS :

1/ ADJUST VOLTAGE DIAL to REQUIRED RANGE.

2/ ATTACH WORK CLAMP to JOB.

3/ SOAK BRUSH into CLEANING FLUID.

4/ PLACE BRUSH ONTO JOB and OBSERVE a CONSTANT FIZZING.

5/ ONLY a LIGHT CONTACT of the BRUSH onto the METAL SURFACE is

REQUIRED to OBTAIN the MAXIMUM HEAT into CLEANING the WELD

JOIN.

6/ WIPE WELD JOIN WITH WET RAG.

( OBSERVE to see if WELD REQUIRES ADDITIONAL CLEANING )

7/ KEEP BRUSH WET at ALL TIMES.

8/ MAINTAIN a COOLED BRUSH by DIPPING it into the COOLING WATER at

CONSTANT INTERVALS.

9/ A DRY BRUSH WILL ERRODE the BRUSH QUICKER and POSSIBLY

MARK the JOB.

10/ WATER RINSE CLEANED AREA WITH a SOAKING WET RAG or HAND

SPRAY.

11/ PRESSURE CLEANING of PANEL MAY be REQUIRED to REMOVE all

RESIDUE from the CLEANING PROCESS. ESPECIALLY if the WELDS are

not COMPLETE.

IMPORTANT NOTE : WITH the ‘O’ RING and the SLEEVE

STYLE BRUSHES WHEN BEING USED

ABOVE 10 volts SETTING THERE is a

LOT of POWER or HEAT GENERATED

THROUGH the BRUSH FIBRES.

THIS HEAT NEEDS to be COOLED

DOWN to INCREASE the LIFE of the

BRUSH. THIS is ACHIEVED BY USING

the SCOOP BUCKET PAIR.

THE 2 LITRE BUCKET has COOLING

WATER and the 500 ml BUCKET is for the

PHOSPHORIC ACID.

MAINTAIN a COOLED BRUSH BY

DIPPING the BRUSH INTO the WATER

at REGULAR INTERVALS DURING the

CLEANING PROCESS.
