When I left you, I was getting ready to head to MAWMR for my first time! I can’t even begin to describe how much fun I had. I love Front Royal, Skyline Drive and that entire area. I was a dual rallyist. The HOG Rally was taking place in Winchester that weekend. I especially enjoyed their Poker Run with Kathy McGrath. We got to visit the Wayside Inn (where George Washington spent a night!) and had some great bbq at Smithfield’s. During the weekend, I got to meet Gloria Tramontin Struck and Eric Estrada; drove a Slingshot and walked on a suspension bridge. But I think my favorite part of MAWMR were my late night talks on the front porch of the hotel with the Roses and a few others. What a great experience! Some of the Roses and I visited the Harley-Davidson demo truck at Classic Harley this month. It’s always fun to jump on other bikes. I rode a Road Glide. It was a bit challenging, but I made it back. So I treated myself to a ride on a beautiful Watermelon Street Glide. I’m looking forward to the HD Electric LiveWire to make its way onto the demo truck this fall. If anybody hears of other manufacturers’ demo trucks in the area, please let me know. We can ride there to check them out. Our Second Sunday ride took us up along the river to 3B’s for a sandwich and ice cream. We wandered out of Harrisburg to Grantville and home. We saw TMI, Hersheypark, and passed a farm that was having Amish Meeting. We all have those traditions that signal the beginning of summer. In my case summer hasn’t started until I have a 3B’s sundae with their homemade blueberry syrup. We’re beginning to plan a camping trip for September! I think it will be fun to hang out around a campfire with our windsisters. Glad that most of the Roses are home safe and enjoyed their time out west. Please start thinking of local businesses we can solicit for donations for the HOPE ride. If you want to reach out to them, please let me know, so we don’t duplicate efforts. If you would like me to contact them, just send me their information and I can reach out. See you soon Roses! Lynn’s July Brain Teaser:What internet web browser do motorcycle riders use?

ANSWER CAN BE FOUND SOMEWHERE IN THIS ISSUE.

A TRLR Second Sunday Ice Cream Ride…for those who didn’t go to WyomingJuly 14, 2019

It promised to be a hot day and we answered theSirens’ call for ice cream!

As much as Nat does not like to do it, she was agreat FOO and we all enjoyed her route up to the DerryStreet 3B. She had her directions binder-clipped to her windscreen but really had them memorized.Everything under control. Blue skies, puffy clouds, and some much appreciated shady areas along theriver made for a great ride. At 3B the AC seemed to be on the “Meat Locker”setting, so after a cool lunch and ice cream inside wewere ready to step back out into the 90 degree air. Many thanks to Nat for all of her planning, and forshowing the White Roses how to get back to 441.

Seen along the way:• A great whiskered and talkative Harley guy at Sheetz.I think bumping into a group of women riders madehis morning.• TMI towers• The WITF Media Center• Middletown – becoming downright quaint! Who da thunk it!• Hershey Park roller coasters• An Amish gathering (always neat to come across)• Queen Anne’s Lace and lots of corn getting tall

Sue S, Aunt Gardenia, Lisa (we hope toride with her again), Kathy M, Nat the FOO,and Melissa convinced a nice guy to take agroup photo while his ice cream melted.
