Bluetooth Setup Guide for WOW! Hotspot Step 1. Click the Bluetooth icon in the bottom bar, it can be found near the computer clock. If the icon is not available it can be found under Start Bar Settings Control Panel Bluetooth Devices If a screen, like the one shown below appears (figure 1), please continue to Step 2. Bluetooth Setup Guidefor WOW! Hotspot
Step 1.
Click the Bluetooth icon in thebottom bar, it can be found near thecomputer clock. If the icon is notavailable it can be found underStart Bar � Settings � Control Panel� Bluetooth Devices
If a screen, like the one shownbelow appears (figure 1), pleasecontinue to Step 2.
If a screen like figure 2 appearsplease continue to Step 3.

Step 2. Uninstall Blue Soleil
We need to un-install the Blue Soleilsoftware in order to use the moresecure Microsoft Windows Bluetoothservice.
Click the Start bar � Settings �Control Panel � Add/Removeprograms
When the new window appears witha list of programs in, please selectBlue Soleil from the list then clickremove.
Follow the instructions foruninstalling the program, includingthe re-starting of the system at theend of the un-installation.
Step 3. Windows Bluetooth Setup
Click the Bluetooth icon in thebottom bar, it can be found near thecomputer clock. If the icon is notavailable it can be found underStart Bar � Settings � Control Panel� Bluetooth Devices
A new window will appear.
Please click ADD that is located onthe bottom left of the window.
Please Note: At this point yourSnooper BT should be plugged intoa car and the power light should beon. The laptop/PC needs to bewithin range of the Snooper BT.
Click the small box next to ‘Mydevice is set up and ready to befound’
Click NEXT to begin searching foractive Bluetooth devices.
The Search should find WOW!SNOOPER BT.
Please click WOW! Snooper BT thenclick next.
It will then ask if you would like touse a passkey.
Please Click on DON’T USE A PASSKEY.
Click next.
It will then install drivers andconfigure settings, this can take upto a minute.
Now you have finished pairing theSnooper BT.
Please click Finish.
Step 4.
Load WOW! and log in using thesupplied user name and codeword.Once you have logged in, click onthe green computer icon in the topbar in the middle of the WOW!shortcuts.
Scroll down the list on the left of thenew window until you find ADP-BOX.
Click the small Circle with the crossin the middle to open this section.
Click Connections.
Make sure the TYPE OF ADP BOXsays D-Box Snooper BT. Once youhave done this click the FIND button.
There will be a new messagewindow appear with Configurationof diagnosis hardware. At thispoint, please ensure that theSnooper BT is connected to a carand the power light is on, alsoconnect the USB cable from thelaptop to the Snooper BT box.
Once you have done this, pleaseclick continue.
WOW! will then search and find theconnected Snooper BT.
Once it lists a COM port please clickOK.
Next WOW! will request to searchfor the Bluetooth function of theSnooper box.
To do this, please disconnect theUSB cable from the Snooper andlaptop.
Once you have done this pleaseclick continue.
The search will find SNOOPER BT.Once it has found this please click OK.
You have now finished pairing andsetting up connections between theSnooper and laptop.
You are now ready to start todiagnose!
