TERMS OF SALE

CREDIT: Open accounts are invited with customers of established credit. Please furnish banking and business references, which will facilitate opening credit lines. Retail Sales Tax Number must be furnished.

PAYMENT OF INVOICES: Please remit to main office.

TERMS: Open invoices over 30 days old are considered delinquent and no future orders will be placed into work until paid. Past due accounts will be charged 1 ½% a month interest on past due balances.

CANCELLATIONS: Orders for custom made items cannot be cancelled or sizes changed after goods have been cut. MOST ALL ORDERS ARE CUT THE SAME DAY OR FOLLOWING DAY OF RECEIPT OF ORDER.

PHONE ORDERS: ALL PHONE ORDERS ARE ACCEPTED AT THE DEALERS RESPONSIBILITY. All phone orders will be repeated by the order taker to you and then becomes your responsibility. Use order form to avoid errors. Order forms will be furnished upon request. Orders may also be placed on-line.

SHORTAGE AND DAMAGE: CLAIMS FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE should be noted on delivery receipt and filed against the carrier. On shipments-note any signs of damage on delivery receipt and notify shipping point.

RETURNS: When desiring to return merchandise, first contact source of shipment for authorization, giving reason for return. Send all related information in carton when shipping back to factory.

NOTE: Inspect cartons for any sign of damage before signing delivery receipt.

CONTRACT BIDS: Orders of over 500 square feet of one material may qualify for Contract Pricing. Please submit specifications.

WARRANTY

All Woven Woods are fully warranted against defects in material and workmanship and warrantied for 3 years to meet industry standards. We reserve the right to request return of defective material before replacement will be made. Shipping

charges, cost of removal and re-installation are not covered under the warranty.

The scallop styles shown on this page may be ordered for-FLAPS-SKIRTS (See optional charges on price page covering selected material).

Fringe style and color may be selected from trim card. When ordering, please specify if flap or skirt or both are to be scalloped.

Scallop sizes are made in proportion to width of shade and warp design. If a particular size scallop is wanted, specify on order.On shades hanging in a row, specify on order so scallops can be made to match.Special scallops can be used-furnish sketch.

Specify scallop style number, style of fringe and color of fringe.

WOVEN MATERIALS - GENERAL INFORMATION

The woods and yarns used on these fabrics have been chosen because of their unique texture, and theirregularities inherent in these fabrics and yarns are a distinctive part of the effect. Great care has beentaken in the weaving and fabrication of these materials and consideration must be taken that this material is practically created by hand.

CLEANING: We suggest periodic brushing and vacuuming. All finishes used on woven materials are washable withmild soap but care must be taken to rinse thoroughly with clear water to remove any trace of soap residue.

OPERATION OF CORD OPERATED SHADES: To lock the shade into position, pull cord sharply to center of shade. Tounlock, pull the cord down and to the outside edge of the shade. To raise or lower the shade, hold cords towardsthe outside edge. This will prevent premature fraying.

Do not try to raise shade any higher than it was intended to go. If shade binds, check cord alignment to see thatcords are not jammed. Use cord equalizers to adjust shade if it does not raise evenly.

OPERATION OF SPRING ROLLERS: On wide shades, hold shade firmly with hands held as wide apart as possible.Care must be taken to guide fabric to avoid hitting brackets. Rollers are adjusted at factory but may need adjustment at time of installation.

SHADE ADJUSTMENT AND ALIGNMENT: Your shades are inspected at the factory but minor adjustments may benecessary at time of installation.

Some woven materials-such as bamboo-are merely decorative and do not provide any sun control nor privacy.They are also a very stretchy fabric and it is virtually impossible to have them hang in a true horizontal positionwithout constant adjustment.

The nature of woven materials is such that minor adjustments in vertical and horizontal alignment can be made.If the shade becomes uneven on the bottom, merely pull down on short side to stretch out weaving yarns.Repeat if necessary.

All woven materials have a tendency to stretch over a period of time. Merely use the cord lock to lockshade into position desired. The resulting fold towards the bottom adds dimension to the shade.

MILDEW: All of our products are guaranteed to have no signs of mildew prior to its fabrication. We are not responsible for climatic conditions on an installation over which we have no control. There is nothing in woven materials to induce mildew. If shades get wet or damp, provide circulation of air to dry out.

WEAVING YARNS: Extensive tests have proven that with normal care, the yarns will give many years of service.Thousands of installations are in use after twenty years of service.

FADING: All yarns used in woven materials are vat dyed and color fast. They are not guaranteed against fadingwhen exposed to direct sunlight.

INSTALLATION: An extra few moments spent in the installation to ensure that all brackets are securely installed and that the customer is aware of proper operation and care of the product will ensure a satisfied customer.

NOTE: Do not hang shade if you find any defect or problem. Take it back to your office and contact usimmediately.

MEASURING AND ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS

ROMAN SHADES - DUO FOLD SHADES

All measurements are cut to the closest tolerances possible. All woven shades will stretch out over a period of time and this cannot be avoided. Use cordlock to lock shade to desired length. Length on Shades: Due to the 1” slats used on mostwoven woods, it is virtually impossible to finish off to exact length. In the case of I.M. we make slightly shorter and on O.M. we may make slightly longer.Standard headrail size is 1” x 2-1/16” deep. A 1”x1” headrail is available upon request. Returns are not available on 1”x1”

OUTSIDE INSTALLATIONS: When measuring for shades to be mounted onthe wall or casing, measure width and length of area to be covered and

mark the order O.M. (Outside Measure). Shades will be made this size.

INSIDE INSTALLATION: When measuring for shades to be mounted on theinside of an opening, measure exact inside opening and mark order I.M.(Inside Measurement). Factory will make the necessary allowance in widthfor clearance. Normal clearance will be ½”. (If you want to make your

own allowance, furnish us with the exact finished size and specify O.M.)

SCALLOPS: Length of shade is always figured to BOTTOM EDGE OF SCALLOP.

INSTALLATION BRACKETS: Special purpose brackets are furnished with all shades which permits inside, outside or overhead installation except shades mounted on a 1x1 headrail. Those will be direct mounted

CONTROLS: Cord Lock or Clutch can be ordered Right or Left side. Please specify when ordering.

SPRING ROLLER SHADESSPRING ROLLER SHADES ARE NOT RECOMMENDED IN WIDTHS OR LENGTHS OVER 72”.

WIDTH: Width must be specified as one of the following measurements:“J” (Jamb)- Exact width of opening-from wood to wood.“TT” (Tip to Tip)- Exact measurement of roller from Tip to Tip. Will be theoutside edge of the brackets when mounting on wall or casing. Cloth iscut 1” less than T.T.“BM” (Barrel Measure)- Actual measurement of the Barrel.“CM” (Cloth Measurement)- Actual measurement of the cloth itself. TTwill be approximately 1” more.

LENGTH: Furnish window opening size. Factory will make allowances for hem and additional material for roller.

BRACKETS: Specify IB (Inside Brackets), OB (Outside Brackets) or CB (Ceiling Brackets).

REVERSE ROLL: All shades will be regular mounted unless Reverse Roll is specified. Reverse brackets will be supplied.

HEMS: All woven shades will be finished at bottom with plain self-material hem.

SCALLOP: Bottom of spring can be scalloped. Furnish style of scallop, style and color of fringe.

SPEAR LINING: Spear lining on woven woods is not effective. If critical, we recommend using a cord operatedshade.

FLAPS – VALANCES – MULTIPLE SHADE HEADRAILSBAY WINDOWS

Flaps are made with sticks running Horizontally like Roman Shades.These can be mounted on any size headrail from 1” to 5 ½”. Returnscan be supplied and Flaps Scalloped. See surcharges. Standard drop 5-6”.

Can be hung as separate hanging, over springs or drapes. Specify width,drop and headrail wanted.

Flat Valances are made with sticks running Vertically like drapes, café curtains or folding doors. Dust Cap from 1” to 5 ½” will be included butnot mounted. Can be Scalloped. See surcharge.

(If excessive width ordered-may be shipped with headrails in sections).

FLAPS

VALANCES

Multiple Shades on Single Headrail: Several shades can bemounted to a single headrail with a continuous flap. Standardspace of ½” between shades is recommended. See surcharge for multiple shades on price schedule. Pattern or warp will be continuous but slap alignment cannot be guaranteed. Normal treatment calls for overall balance and each individual shade may have unbalanced warps. (Same effect can be achieved with individual shades by leaving the flaps slightly wider than theshades).

Shades may be mitered for tight fit into corners and bay windows. Pattern is worked out from corners. ½” space is allowed for clearance in corners. All shades cannot be raised to the samelevel.

LENGTH: Door will be finished to allow for clearance of ¾” on bottom. IfFinished Length is desired, specify FL (Finished Length). On short dividers(60” or less) ¼” clearance is provided.

RAILS: Aluminum side rails & top track is provided. Gold or Natural Aluminumcolor is available. Please specify color when ordering.

MOUNTING: All doors and tracks are made for ceiling installation. If wall mount is required, specify on order and brackets will be furnished.
