Our NURSERY is located in the main hallway of TFEC and is available during all worship services and Sunday school.

Infant & Toddler room – 104 Preschoolers – 106

Children’s notebooks are located on the back wall. Children who remain in worship service are welcome to read and color the paper activities

that relate to what the younger children are doing in Children’s church.

In the Sanctuary

Do you wear a hearing aid? A designated seating area beside the Sound Booth is equipped with a hearing assisted loop. The loop is compatible with t-coil enabled hearing aids. For more information,

please speak with Mike Ferguson, our sound technician.

Hearing amplifiers are also available from the ushers.

Large print hymnals and bulletins are located in the rear of the Sanctuary.

The mission Committee and Grace United Methodist Women are co-sponsoring a program being presented by Pat and Karen Burroughs. Grace UMC has been supporting Pat and Karen in their mission work for many years. Come hear from them all about their mission work in Africa and Asia. The program begins at 10:30 am with a luncheon served after the presentation. Put this on your calendar and plan to

attend. More information will be in October’s Newscaster.

Travel Club

In October the Travel group will start to collect money for the fall tours. Please look for a travel committee member on Sunday’s before and after church service in the lobby in TFEC or the Grace Cafe. Out of town members can send a check to the church marked Attn: Travel Group in the lower left corner. We will be collecting $65 per person for the November 13th trip to Big Cat Habitat, leaving at 10 AM and returning about 5 PM with lunch at Der Dutchman. The Tour to Florida Southern College Christmas Show is December 14th and will depart at 10 AM and return about 5:30 PM, costing $60 per Person. A separate check for each event would be appreciated. We have 56 people who have signed up for the Christmas Show but only have 50 tickets. We are counting on a few people to drop out. If we have to cut a couple of people it will be those who signed up last, so it is almost to late to sign up now and go. So get your name on the lists. For more information or if you have any

SAVE THE DATE: Paraguayan harpist, Nicholas Carter, will be making beautiful music once again in Venice this December. Several concerts are planned in the area and we are fortunate to have him giving an afternoon concert at Grace on Saturday, December 7th at 2:00. Volunteers Needed! We are looking for volunteers to work the GUMC Pumpkin Patch selling pumpkins. Shifts are available in two hour increments weekdays, evenings and weekends. It is a pleasant way to serve our church and the community for a worthwhile cause. Signup sheets are on tables every Sunday in the back of TFEC or in the Main building Narthex lobby. All proceeds go to our Missions Committee to help support mission projects.

UMCOR has awarded a solidarity grant to Bahamas Methodist Habitat, the Disaster Ministry of the Bahamas Conference of the Methodist Church. This grant provides immediate, emergency short term funding to address the basic human needs of those affected by this catastrophic storm. You can join with UMCOR by donating to our disaster response and recovery funds. Thank you for your continued prayers and support.
