Ministry Updates

Maple Springs Food Pantry We are currently in need of canned vegetables, canned fruits, canned meats, dried beans, condiments, and rice. Thanks for helping to "Feed the Need" in our community! Email [email protected] if you are interested in volun-teering. We are asking anyone available on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday to sign up for just one 2-hour shift to help. If you have a day off of work or a little extra time to spare, we would love for you to join in! Prison Ministry The collection item for March is soap. Collection boxes are in the lobby off the sanctuary and in the Craven lobby.

Ministry Opportunity! Wanted... a leader for our monthly Maple Springers meal and fellowship gathering. A full support team is in place and programming is planned through the fall. Will you serve in this role? You will be trained and equipped to suc-ceed! Email Erin Moses at [email protected].

The Staff Parish Relations Committee (SPRC) and the pastors are searching for a full-time Office Manager to serve Maple Springs. If you or someone you know is interested in this important position in the life of our church, please contact the Chair of SPRC, Ceil Hodgin at [email protected] for information on the position and how to submit a resume. Resumes will be accepted until April 8th via email or by mail to the church office.

News and Upcoming Events

First Wednesday Wisdom, April 6, 4:30pm—5:30 OR 6:30-7:30pm (Cokesbury Room): This one-night Bible study, led by Pastor Jeff is entitled “The Blessing”. We will use John Trent and Gary Smalley’s book by this title to talk about the Biblical notion of “Blessing” and its meaning to each one of us. You may order the book in advance, but it is not necessary for this class. For more information or to attend, please email Erin at [email protected].

First Wednesday Dinner, April 6, 5:30pm – 6:30pm (Craven Fellowship Hall): Join us for a monthly fellowship dinner! RSVP by 5:00pm April 3 via the bulletin tear-off sheet or by con-tacting the church office. April Menu: baked herb chicken, rice, broccoli with cheese, rolls, pineapple upside down cake. First-time guests enjoy free admission to their first Wednesday dinner! Cost: $5 adults / $4 Children (5th grade and under) / $20 maximum per family.
