How do you change your students’ lives? By providing opportunities for them to be with Jesus! That is the beauty in the process of immersing your group at Mission Basecamp. As your team lives in community, worships, and serves together, their faith is challenged and changed. This meaningful process provides a compelling experience integrating a deep sense of togetherness and focus on God that is often missed in our hectic lives and busy schedules.

Jesus knew that living in a community and serving others would change us. When we connect with other people and partner with them in service, we draw closer to the heart of God. Worship, Service, and Community: the “secret sauce” of Mission Basecamp!

Mission Basecamp at Kavanaugh Conference and Retreat Center is a mission experience your youth will never forget. Kavanaugh is the perfect location to connect with various mission sites in Louisville and surrounding counties to share God’s love then return to Kavanaugh’s campy and comfortable facility for worship, recreation, and quality time together.

Partner with Kavanaugh to make a lasting impact and immerse your group into a world that is full of opportunity to engage in meaningful ministry in both urban and non-urban settings. At the same time, they will have the chance to be present in a place set apart where they can hear the still small voice of God.

HEY CAMPERS! We can’t say enough about how serving changes you and draws you into the heart of God. While we could stop here, Mission Basecamp is also about your group having fun! A favorite Mission Basecamp mantra is “work hard, play hard.” After an awesome day of serving, you will experience yummy canteen time, fun field games, and evening activities that are sure to create smiles and laughter!

enjoy all the Louisville area has to offer! From housing to meals and an extra day of service, we can custom fit the end of your stay to best serve your team.

Service is fashionable in any season

Are you unavailable during Summer? No problem! We love to serve year-round. Spring break, fall break, or an overnight weekend break, helping never goes out of style, and there will always be vital needs to meet in the community.
