My Dear Students and Parents,

MIT WPU, with its legacy of four decades of association with industries/universities of repute around the world, encourages its students toundertake an International Study Tour (IST). This tour, featuring visits to the best of the universities in the UK, Europe and Asia, will ensure thatthe students are enriched with unmatched learning by gaining exposure in terms of subject-wise knowledge; practical experience in foreignlaboratories; discussions with highly acclaimed professors; in addition to developing a network of future global professional colleagues inmultiple cultural environments.

This tour is planned with subsidy from MIT WPU which will facilitate all the logistics needed for the tour. Since this is a popular choice with morethan 1000 MITWPU students having already gone through international immersion in last two years, the costs involved are bare minimum dueto large numbers. Further, it will not be possible to undertake this tour at this cost for any individual. No other university has embarked upon anexercise of this magnitude like MIT WPU which wants to distribute its longstanding international benefits to students.

Though designed as an optional tour, considering the global exposure that the student gets which employers are looking for and giving aweightage increasing employment prospects, every student must undertake this International Study Tour. This program has become popularwith MIT WPU students as it helps them in many ways, including the final placements.
