Theatre, live music, interactive experiences, art & more, rooted in faith and shared with other pilgrims from all over the world The opportunity to join thousands of others for catechesis – taught by a different Bishop each day – as well as praise and Mass
Opening Mass, Stations of the Cross
Madrid during WYD Spain’s capital and largest city will be open for pilgrims, with free access to the many world-renowned galleries, museums and cultural centres

give us the strength to go out and profess that we are Christian, may He will show us that He alone can fill our
hearts. May we accept His freedom and embrace His truth, and be messengers of the certainty that we have been truly
liberated through the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus. May this be our new experience, the powerful
experience, that will generate, through us, a more just society and a better world.
We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen.
