World War III2057:

•Unsuspecting China is caught off-guard, and is quickly on the losing side of the war

•Not wanting Russia to gain control of China’s economy, the US, Canada, Mexico, and most other North American countries jump to the aid of China.

•Russia was able to scare several countries bordering China into fighting alongside Russia. France, Spain, and Germany were also blackmailed into fighting China

•World War III begins

World War III2058:

• After major losses, both financially and in their population, the United States surrenders

• Russia succeeds in taking over China, along with some other smaller countries

• President George E. Bush gives a “Man on Mars” speech, promising to put man on mars before a 75 year deadline

• The government planned that in 100 years, man would be living on the moon…

GovernmentOligarchy – An oligarchy is a government where a few people rule

•We plan on having 10 people on the council that will make all the colony’s decisions

• We will provide free health care

• We will keep federally funded stores open to provide food, tools, office supplies, etc.

• This government is best for the people because it allows a group of people with the publics best interests at heart to make some of the difficult decisions, while not giving overall power to any individual. They vote on all decisions regarding the public, and

majority wins.

Police Force• We have a government issued police force. This means all issues are reported by the

public, and the government will decide on whether or not they need to take action

• The police force will be like a SWAT team, they will be highly effective, quick, and advanced

• Most of the laws regarding police officers America had will apply to ours

LawsActions That Are Punishable By Law:

• Murder

• Assault

• Theft

• Undermining Governmental Officials

• Knowingly Involving In Use Of Non-Prescription Drugs

Jobs• The first settlers to come will all be specialists ( i.e. doctors, engineers, chemists,

physicists, scientists, mathematicians, etc.)

• They will have a job according to their specialty and their salary will be determined on their quality of work, and how efficient they are

• Money will be used to buy food, tools, office supplies, and other governmentally provided supplies. This will take place of taxes

Transportation• Transportation on Mars will be limited. The harsh environment alone makes it difficult

for people to leave our colony without protective gear

• There will be no need to travel long distances on Mars for awhile, because of the low population. With only one colony, everyone should be able to walk from their personal

house, to the store, and back without problems

• There will be special vehicles for government-issued projects, such as collecting resources, receiving new colonists, and building other colonies

Protective Gear• Inside the colony protective gear will not be needed, due to a dome covering the

colony with a built in carbon dioxide-converter

• Leaving the colony’s protective dome will need to be approved by the government beforehand, and is at your own risk

• They will issue you a protective outfit, which will dispel radiation, filter harmful chemicals, regulate the temperature, and provide clean oxygen
