Second World War was a global military conflict which involved a majority of the
world’s nations (Germany, England, France, United States, Canada, Poland, China, Japan, Italy) organized into two
opposing military alliances: the Allies (The nations that fought against the Germans)
and the Axis (The nations who fought with the Germans).

Nazi’s invade EuropeNazi’s were a group of people,
mostly German, who believed their race was the dominant race and sought to destroy other races,
mostly Jewish people.

During this time the Nazi Government was known as the
Third Reich. Adolf Hitler was the leader of the Third Reich.

The children of London were sent out of the city to live with relatives,
friends or even strangers to be safe.
