The world’s retailers of food and non-food gather every year in Amsterdam to meet their suppliers at the B2B trade fair “PLMA’s World of Private Label” end of May.Joint participation through country pavilions is the key formula of this fair.

Bulgaria was present with 16 exhibitors, but like the four exhibitors from Macedonia, all participated individually.

Massively present countries were France (140 exhibitors), Germa-ny (347), Italy (238) and Spain (129). China was present with 61 exhibitors in the non-food section and 10 in the food section. There were 51 exhibitors from South Korea.

Several companies, like toilet paper producers Paloma from Slove-nia, Harmony Slovakia and Hero, Remia and United Coffee from the Netherlands have large individual stands every year.

From Kosovo, producer of wet wipes Bibita was exhibiting in 2013, 2014 and 2015. In 2015 also coffee producer Devolli joined.

From Macedonia Hina Products, Konimex (Koro), Magroni (Dobra Voda), Makprogres (Vincinni), Multihem, Rudine and Vitalia were exhibiting at the Macedonia pavilion in 2015, whereas Viaprom and Vivaks exhibited individually.

The Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA) is a non-profit organisation founded in 1979 to promote private label.

PLMA represents more than 3,500 member companies around the globe, ranging from multinatio nal corpora-tions to small family-owned companies; both private la-bel specialists and well-known brand makers who also have private label operations.

Their products include food, beve rages, snacks, health and beauty, household and kitch-en, DIY, and personal and lei-sure products.

PLMA offers three annual trade shows in Amster dam, Chicago and Shanghai.
