We are a medium-sized fibre manufacturer in Southern Germany with 500 employees and an annual production of 90,000 tonnes of vis-cose speciality fibres. Our vision is to be the world’s leading producer of viscose speciality fibres for a broad spectrum of applications and markets.

We have been supplying viscose fibres for more than 75 years, and our custom-ers know they can rely on the quality of our products. Through constant product development we add new functionalities to our fibres, while maintaining product quality and delivering outstanding per-formance properties in their products.

Going green? We are – by nature

Cellulose is nature’s high-performance material and the natural raw material for our fibres. The wood pulp we use carries the highly regarded seal of the FSC® or is certified to the PEFC™ standard, both of which certify sustainable forestry. All our viscose fibres are fully biodegradable and therefore represent a sustainable alternative to crude-oil-based materials.

We use raw materials that are certified for sustainability, closed production loops with highly effective recovery rates and operate a power house that runs at an efficiency rate of over 90%. Our patented technology for waste water treatment was developed in Kelheim. For us, protecting the environment is not only important – it is a core competence.

Our focus is on continuously devel-oping new ideas in order to meet the needs of our customers. By modifying our fibre products we are able to create new specialities with intrinsic product properties – for both existing and new markets.
