#Build Open Ecosystems, not Walls

When I look at the latest political topics in the world, I can only say that diversity rules! Putting different pieces together in a smart way will help us to build something BIG. Thats innovation! Closing the borders kills innovation. Look at WordPress again - it was only able to become that successful with its large ecosystem of plugins and themes. Which brings me to my next story.24

Imagine you own a web agency and your client - a small hotel nearby in the Black Forest - needs something changed on their website and they approach you like this: Its a small, quick change. My client was a big German Steel Factory and they wanted to have something modern, clean, cool. They said you have complete creative control. After I designed and coded it, I sent it for approval.
