TRANSCRIPT
The Philippines, as one of the largest recipients of Korea’s
official development assistance, has been receiving about
600 volunteers since 1990 under the programs of World
Friends Korea (WFK). They work in the fields of Education,
Public Health, Information and Communication Technology
(ICT), Vocational Training, and Rural Development, taking
into account the development priorities of the Philippine
government.
As the third largest overseas volunteer program in the
Philippines, WFK will continue to promote its key concepts:
partnership, understanding and sincerity; hand in hand with
the Philippine government for a sustainable development.
