A second generation gemmologist, after completing her studies in anthropology at a university in Italy, Claudia earned her dual Graduate Gemmologist Diploma at International Institutes. She held the director's position at 18karati jewellery for several years while earning experience in the most important jewellery shows in the world and learning the mining process directly from sources in Thailand and Cambodia. She is now a senior faculty at SGL London and enjoys assisting her students grow and learn while sharing her passion for diamonds.

SGL diamond education provides comprehensive knowledge and experience to students, they will be able to judge clarity, colour and cut of rounds and fancy shaped diamonds. The course will teach them the use of gemmological tools with confidence and estimating the diamond weight in mounted jewellery. You will learn how to separate diamonds from Syntheitc, Mossanite and Cubic Zirconia, you will also be able to detect treatments using 10X loupe. During the lab class, you can get practical experience with natural diamonds, Rough diamonds, Synthetic diamonds, Treated Diamonds, Diamond Studded Jewellery and lots more.
