HIGH-TECH & HIGH-TOUCH EvENT EXPERIENCE

Given the focus on digital technology and innovation, the Summit will use the event application sli.do to facilitate interaction and Q&A during the presentation sessions. but there will be lots of opportunity for face-to-face interaction too.

IN-DEPTH UNDERSTANDING

The Summit is designed to be a two-day working session that promotes dialogue and facilitates participants’ ability to take a deeper dive into the course material through discussions and mini projects with both workspace-design experts and their peers.

bUILT-IN WORKSHOP

To maximize the value of the experience, participants won’t just listen – they’ll also have the opportunity to engage and start to develop plans of action.

To maximize the value of the experience, participants won’t just listen – they’ll also have the opportunity to engage and start to develop plans of action.

Smart Workspace Design

--> Developing Plans of Action

Why ThIS SuMMIT

People spend a substantial part of their lives working and the quality of their workplace experience is inevitably reflected in the quality of their lives. Last year, we put 'Engaging Employee Experience' on the cover of our annual hR forum and now we are ready to start a higher-level dialogue about critical drivers of employee engagement & productivity in a brand new context.

bringing together WORKSPACE DESIGN DRIVERS, NEUROSCIENCE and WORK ENVIRONMENT FACTORS we will show through WORKSPAcE DESIGN cASE STuDIES how the implementation of smart office concepts result in reaching higher levels of performance, collaboration and motivation.

At this Summit we aim to prove that the collaboration of hR, facility Management and IT is enhancing INTERCONNECTED, AGILE WORKING in intelligent buildings and within the Internet of Things (IoT) at workplaces.

If hR wants to put today's agile workers in the "driver's seat", WIRELESS FACILITY MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY and INFRASTRUCTURE TECHNOLOGY is responsible for the "vehicle of the workday": a smart and optimized space with advanced levels of ergonomy, functionality and wireless technology.

HR Global Forum is a senior level event specifically designed

‘by experts for experts’, t

o address the increasing needs and

demands of senior leaders of HR within several industries.

The Forum is a smart combination of outstanding program

with truly interactive opportunities including Q&A sessions!

This forum also includes “LIVE WORKSHOP” which will

give senior HR practitioners access to new ideas, solutions

and innovations newly gathered from the 2 day forum,

to help take their departments and companies forward.

Through open discussions on best practice and debate among the

various industry’s top players, delegates will get a unique insight into

strategies being used by their peers.

Taking place in London, the capital of United Kingdom, in an exclusive

5*Hotel, the forum will provide a distraction free environment where

you can discuss hot and up to date HR issues relating to organizational

workplace. In addition to the above all participants are able to take

advantage of a famous “London Eye River Cruise“ and will

also receive a complimentary Magnify Change Leadership: A

Practical Guide for Leading Teams in Times of Change book.

Human Resource Management (HRM) plays a strategic role in the

survival of an organization. In this time of global financial crisis, Human

Resource (HR) managers must not only innovate but must also act as

change agents, strategists, m

entors, counselors and motivators. They

must adopt a people-centered model of management instead of the

go-get-them approach. The latter approach will not only push down

the morale of your employees but it will also shove your talented

workers from leaving your organization.

solution to the sudden influx of paper brought by the industrial revolution. The desk is a tool for sorting, marking and filing paper. but, as paper becomes less and less relevant to most work, the desk has become an island of personalization in otherwise immutable office landscapes; a surface for knick-knacks. Do we need desks? how else can we build identification at work?

• Hoteling. Some companies have stripped staff of individual space, making all work-stations communal and unassigned. Primarily creating deep anxiety and a sense of rootlessness. how can companies support mobility without creating alienation?

• Collaboration and quiet in an open office. Everyone hates cubicles but there are many unhappy workers in many open offices all over the world. how can we make privacy happen without diminishing visibility?

• Density. There is a push to shrink the individuals footprint within an office space. how do we create density without anonymity?
