About RGUKT

RGUKT (AP IIIT), is an abode of inspiring techno-crats, undergoing a 6-year integrated course in various disciplines. Aiming to cater the educational needs and to ful�ll the long cherished dreams of rural youth, the institution was established by the govern-ment of Andhra Pradesh. De�ning education as “over all development of personality”, RGUKT-facilitates minor courses in sundry disciplines like management, �ne arts, music etc. Incorporating discipline and punctu-ality from the grass roots, the students are actively involved in NCC & NSS. A well crafted curriculum and sophisticated pedagogies with all e-classroom environment are the corner stones of the institution. The students of the university glistened in signi�cant number of competi-tions in the arena of national & international levels enhancing the pride of RGUKT.

About the Department

Mechanical Engineering Department at RGUKT has been established in the year of 2011. All the faculty members of the department are from the National Premier institutes such as IITs and NITs. The department has equipped with state of the art labs and all the faculty members are actively involving in research areas of Machine Design, Manufacturing Processes, Thermal Engineering and Industrial Engineering. The department also has Mechanical Students Chapter(MSC) to meet the academic, technical and career needs of the student community of the department.

ObjectiveTo give an immense exposure of potential research areas in mechanical engineer-ing discipline and help the participants to identify an appropriate research area to continue their research.
