Workplace Wellbeing Supervisor Julie Bonsall is the driving force behind the Greater Dayton RTA’s comprehensive wellness program. Her accomplishments in just 4 short years is testimony to her planning skills, enthusiasm, and her determination to get the bus agency’s employees on the path to better health. In her role as Workplace Wellbeing Supervisor, Bonsall is responsible for training, compliance with regulations, inspections, the safety committee, and overall development and evaluation of safety and employee health programs. Her success at RTA has been recognized through several local and state awards. The transit agency’s health insurance premiums have dropped right along with the collective 1,000 pounds employees drop each year through the program.
