WORKSHOP AT AIIMS ON

'WORLD IMMUNOLOGY DAY'

Every year on 29th April 'World Immunology Day' is celebrated worldwide. We at Schiller understand it very well that today children are the future of tomorrow. So to mark the occasion and to make its students aware about the importance and ways of improving their immune system, the school sent 18 selected students of class X on 1st May 2018 to participate in a workshop organized by AIIMS at New Delhi. The topic of the workshop was '' Gazing in to the Horizon of Immune System '' There under the guidance of world class AIIMS doctors namely Dr Sita Naik and Prof. Kalpna Sharma the students were made aware about the basics of Immunology and our amazing immune system. Every student was given certificate of participation.

COCO (ANIMATED MOVIE)

3rd May, 2018 To inculcate the feeling of love and respect for their family in students Schiller Senior Secondary School along with Hindustan Times has organized a movie show of the award winning animated movie "COCO" at the Main Auditorium, KIET Group of Institutions, Meerut Road, Ghaziabad. Students of classes II to VI visited the venue and enjoyed the movie. The film was praised for its animation, vocal performances, music, emotional story and respect for Mexican culture. "COCO" was chosen by The National Board of Review as the Best Animated Film of 2017. The film has won two Academy awards for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song. The film becomes the highest grossing film of all time in Mexico and also won Best Animated film at the BAFTA awards, Golden Globe awards, Critic's Choice Movie Awards and Annie Awards.t

YOGA CHAMPIONSHIP

3rd May, 2018 Congrats Schillerites!!! Here’s one more reason to feel proud and happy for. In 2nd North Zone Yoga Championship - 2018, organized by Patanjali Yog Samiti our energetic students have won gold, silver and bronze medals under different categories. The event was held on 3rd May at Noida College Of Physical Education situated in Dadri. In all together 400 students had participated in the event including 7 students of Schiller Sr. Sec. School. And all of our 7 students came out to be winners. Details are as follows: Kartik of class IV won gold medal, Anushka Chauhan of class III won silver medal Ashish Raghav of class XI Science won bronze medal Merit List Students Avnish of class X, Utkarsh of class VIII, Aryan of class VIII, and, Chirag of class VII. All of our 7 participants have qualified for the National Level Championship to be held at Palwal. We are confident that our students will make us proud at National level too. All the best.
