Answer the following questions as accurately as you can. If the answer is continually ‘no’ you need to go and look for a different target market.

1. How many of your target market can you reach? Are there enough of them to make a viable business?

2. Do they have a problem you can help them with that they REALLY want to get fixed? Ie. does NOT having what you offer hurt enough for them to do something about it

3. Can you find them easily? So they have associations, meeting groups, do they tend to use social media groups or the internet a lot? Is there some central database they’ll all be registered to?

4. Do they have enough money to pay you what you’re worth? Be honest with yourself, if you had more than 2 no’s chances are this is not a target market that are likely to spend a lot of money with you. Go back and choose a different target market based on getting lots of YES! answers.
