Obesity related job absenteeism costs $4.3 billion annually. As an individual’s BMI

increases, so do their sick days.

There is a direct link to obesity and depression.

43 percent of adults who are depressed are also obese.

Depressed individuals struggle with work, home life and social activities more so than non depressed individuals.
