WORKING WITH TEXT• Open a new document

until the image fills the page

• The document is covered by a transparent red overlay except where there is text
• Adjust the position and size of the text
WORKING WITH TEXT• Select the check mark on the Options Bar or press CTRL + S
to commit the type mask
WORKING WITH TEXT• The red overlay is gone and a pulsing dotted outline of
“marching ants” indicates the text
WORKING WITH TEXT• Select the layer with the original photograph in the Layers Panel
• Press CTRL + J
• The text filled with the image is copied to the new layer
WORKING WITH TEXT• Click on the eye next to the original photo in the Layers Panel to
close the layer
WORKING WITH TEXT• The text filled with the image appears in the document
