Step 2:
• Begin to shade by layering colors.
• Some details can be added using a graphite pencil, as was done in the lacing of the baseball
• The addition of lights and darks while layering gives the objects form.

• Continue layering colors.
• A kneaded eraser can be used to lift and adjust colors.
• Add richness to the drawing by using effective color combinations.
