working together to achieve healthy waters - environmental initiative policy forum series
DESCRIPTION
TRANSCRIPT
policy forum series: working together to achieve healthy waters
about the program
Minnesota has made significant investments to protect, preserve and restore the quality of ourwaters in recent years. How do we ensure that these efforts are implemented most efficiently andeffectively, and that these investments continue to lead to cleaner water on a large scale?
Registration is open for Environmental Initiative's upcoming forum where local government leaders will
discuss:
Activities on the ground that have achieved measurable improvements to our water resources
Barriers to achieving cleaner water in our communities and across the Minnesota landscape
What is needed at state and local levels to achieve our goals for clean and healthy water
This forum will allow water quality practitioners and other stakeholders to share their experiences with those
who develop and shape state water policy. Policy experts will have the opportunity to reflect on local
successes and challenges as well as identify policy needs through dialogue with local leaders.
