April 2019 Newsletter
www.BereaChamber.com
Hello Everyone,
I would like all committee chairs or co-chairs, to send me the date that each committee has chosen to meet. Please send the committee name and date to my email at [email protected]. Thank you in advance for taking your charge seriously and helping make sure that our year is a very successful one for our community, businesses and the chamber. You should receive a list of all the committees with their chairs and co-chairs listed. This will be helpful for each of us to be able to contact someone, if we need to ask a question or get some information. Since we are now beginning the month of April, it seems that there is a lot of work that needs to be done and the year is moving faster and faster. The Rook & Chili Dinner is just around the corner and we need to ask everyone we see, to join us for this great event. It is more about having a great time and socializing than being a winner, so anyone can come and enjoy playing and leaving their worries at home. The Executive Committee will be meeting soon, if you have suggestions that we need to discuss, please call or email one of the five members: Greg Powell, Danny Miller, Paul Reynolds, Sandra Rose or Jeanette Rowlett. We will add it to our agenda and if need be to the April 25th board meeting at 12:00 noon. Berea is a great place and the Chamber of Commerce has a big part, to play in what happens, in our town. Hope to see all 24 of our board members, on Thursday, April 25, 2019. Put it on your calendar and try to work your day around the meeting.

It is time that we all should be looking forward to all the events that are planned for 2019. First, now that everyone has had several opportunities to sign up for committees and the chairs have been identified, everyone who has a commitment, to one or more committees, needs to get together in the next two weeks and set up your budget, for your event. Be prepared to have someone from the committee, if not the chair, to present at the next board meeting, which is the last Thursday of the month, April 25th at 12:00 noon. The meeting is held at the Chamber office, upstairs.

2019 Berea Magazine Available
Our 2019 Berea Magazine has been printed and is now available for distribution. The magazine has been placed in the high traffic areas around town for our visitors and copies will be delivered to advertisers in the coming week.
The magazine serves as a core piece for our relocation packets and is also available on-line through the Chamber website (www.BereaChamber.com) 24/7.
I want to thank all of our businesses that purchased ads and helped make the publication possible. We are also very proud of our partnership with the staff at The Berea Citizen, who did the beautiful layout, design and editorial work.
Please call or email the Chamber office if you would like copies for your lobby or customers.
Sincerely,
David
