Quote of the Week “You have noticed that the truth comes into this world with two

faces. One is sad with suffering, and the other laughs; but it is the same face, laugh-ing or weeping. When people are already in despair, maybe the laughing face is bet-ter for them; and when they feel too good and are too sure of being safe, maybe the weeping face is better for them to see.” -Black Elk

Thumbs up to our local grocery stores for keeping the shelves as stocked as they can,

considering what’s still going on. Saves a trip out of town.

Foster homes provide valuable information about animals that cannot be determined in a shelter situation. Having a dog or cat in a foster home, reduces stress for the animal, and provides information as to how an animal will act in a home situation. This allows us to find the best forever home for the animal. Foster homes also free up space at the shelter, so we can help more animals in need.

We are in urgent need of more foster homes. You, reaching out to help, can make all the difference in a homeless

animal's life.

Please help us help more animals! Visit nwas.ca to find out more or contact our Foster Coordinator at [email protected]
