Easthampton Savings Bank • 2007Westfi eld, MA
Dietz & Company, Architectswww.dietzarch.com
The client purchased a property containing two homes of historic value to the community. Working with both stakeholders, we developed a scheme that preserved one of the homes and relocated a timber frame barn off site. The design of the bank branch takes formal cues from the Italianate style of the home to create an addition that provides for the needs of the bank without disrupting the historic context of its surroundings.I was responsible for documenting existing site conditions through fi eld notes and photography and then creating a BIM model of the building and site. I then worked with the project architect to develop programming options, renderings and a preliminary drawing set from the BIM model.

DiNisco Design Partnershipwww.dinisco.com
The project entailed integrating two existing 1930’s era school buildings with the addition of contemporary core facilities and new classrooms. The design needed to respect the historic character of the original buildings and surrounding neighborhood while conforming to a highly restrictive set of site constraints. Working in collaboration with the Project Architect, we produced multiple schematic design proposals that we refi ned toward a design development submission. The building was completed subsequent to my departure from DiNisco Design Partnership.

Borinquen Court Apartments • 2011New York, NY
The goal of this speculative project was to demonstrate competency in the use of Revit as a design and documentation tool. I choose a site in New York and designed the residential component of a mixed-use building. The building’s confi guration makes use of both skip-step and traditional fl at apartment layouts. The structure of the building utilizes precast concrete columns, beams and long-span double-T’s. The exterior walls alternate between cross laminated timber structural panels with wood plank siding and masonry in-fi ll walls with an EFIS fi nish.
