I help people create impactful imagery that my clients are proud to share. (And I make the process pain free and pleasant.) I've had clients come to me who are starting out, or perhaps they are disappointed with their current photography. We've worked together and seen their business grow, work published in print, or potential clients converted to real clients. A picture really can be worth a thousand words. Work Flow Before the shoot we’ll touch base to confirm a shooting date, place, and time. Also, we can discuss the spaces planned for the day and how you envision using your images. I carefully craft each photo using natural light and my lighting gear. If a composition is not working I find it best to move on to something that’s more engaging and tells your story. During the photoshoot I’ll display images as they are captured on a laptop. The best thing about the laptop is that you’ll be able to see all the little details and relax knowing you’ll be happy with the portrayal of your work! Most designers I work with like to style their own spaces and I am available for feedback and suggestions. If you’d like a stylist I can help you find one. After the photoshoot, images go into an editing process. In general, you can expect to receive your edited images within 5 business days after the shoot. I'm Karen Palmer. I'm a photographer who works with people in creative professions, including interior designers, architects, and publishers. I help people create impactful imagery that my clients are proud to share. (And I make the process pain free and pleasant.)

I've had clients come to me who are starting out, or perhaps they are disappointed with their current photography. We've worked together and seen their business grow, work published in print, or potential clients converted to real clients. A picture really can be worth a thousand words.

Work Flow

Before the shoot we’ll touch base to confirm a shooting date, place, and time.

What do rates include? (cont.) • Licensing fees. I grant permission for the commissioning client to have unlimited use of the

images in any medium for the promotion of the client’s business. The copyright remains with me and therefore a client may not sell or relicense an image. If before the shoot, additional parties wish to share images, I will invoice a 30% charge per additional party and you can decide how to split the costs.

Call to schedule your next photo shoot and I’ll help you create beautiful images that you can use for all your marketing needs!
