Delaware City Refining Company Answers Dreams!
Seth, 16 with low functioning autism, dreamed of getting his
own gaming system. Thanks to Sunshine Foundation’s longtime
friend, and donor Rita Cooper, Seth was able to make his dream a
reality. He went to his local Game Stop, who decided to partake in
Seth’s Dream. They provided pizza and drinks for Seth as he
shopped for his dream gaming system, as well as some games to go
along with it! Thank you to Rita, and Game Stop for making Seth’s
Dream one to remember!

functioning autism, was able to go
to Walt Disney World!

Glory Days Grill Golfs for Dreams
Glory Days Grill held their annual Golf Tournament to help
answer the Dream of 6 year old Carson, with cerebral palsy,
where he went to Sea World! Sunshine Foundation is grateful to Sea World
for Seeing the Sunshine in Every Child, and recognizing children with
lifelong, chronic conditions.

Jayson. 7 with Pierre Robin syndrome received
his Dream Come True Trip to the Central Florida
Theme Parks where he went to Walt Disney
World, Animal Kingdom and Disney’s
Hollywood Studios. Jayson’s Dream was
answered by WAWA.

3 times in a row at the Animal Kingdom Park!!
Then took on Space Mountain, Splash Mountain
and Big Thunder Railroad Mountain with tons
of courage over at Magic Kingdom.”

It takes Volunteers to Run a Dream Village
In order to keep the Dream Village in the best possible shape for
Sunshine Foundation’s Dreamers and their families, we need
help from Volunteers. Volunteers from Disney Cruise Lines,
DaVita Kidney Care and Pesco Energy came out to decorate
the Village with holiday spirit. Disney VoluntEARS returned
from Disney Cruise Lines to make sure the holiday decorations
were safely put away. Managers from Home Depot came out to
repair cottages and the handicap accessible play ground. Finally
volunteers from Community Associations Institute, Central
Florida Chapter, came out, with some Boy Scouts, to help
repaint and improve the Elves Cottage. Thank you to these
volunteers, as well as
the many others who
help keep the Dream
Village beautiful for
our Dreamers.
Megan’s Dream Come True!
Dream Village Celebrates Gala!
The Dream Village Gala was a huge
success this year, thanks to the
committee members and volunteers
who put in long hours to make the
magical night possible. This year the
Dream Village staff got together to
thank everyone involved. A special
Thank You was
presented to
Jim and Christine Cembrook from The 501st
Legion and The Rebel Legion for their
efforts in recruiting the Star Wars characters who
attended this year’s Gala, as well those who
shot the videos at the Dream Village.
Raven, with spina bifida, recently went
on her Dream Come True Trip to the Central
Florida Theme Parks. While on her Dream
Trip, Raven not only got to meet Elsa, but
she also was able to go on her first ride ever.

Evan’s Dream Come True!
Evan, 14 with albinism and severe visual
impairment received his Dream Come True Tr ip to
the Central Florida Theme Parks. While on his Dream,
Evan stayed in the Space Cottage, and visited
Legoland, Universal Studios and the Magic Kingdom.

The Consalvo Family held their 14th Annual Michele Consalvo
Beef and Beer to remember their loved one who passed too
soon. By holding this event, no only do they
remember Michele, but they also answer the dreams of
children on Sunshine Foundation’s waiting list. This year 7 year
old Jaslynn, with cerebral palsy, will receive he Dream Come True
Trip to the Central Florida Theme Parks.
