    Desserts in the Stacks Tale Book for 2013

    Join the 19 public libraries in Genesee, Orleans, and Wyoming Counties for the 11th annual A Tale for Three Counties “Meet the Author” event. Peter Troy, author of the 2013 book choice, May the Road Rise Up to Meet You, will speak and sign books in four locations in March. Troy will speak in Batavia on Thursday, March 17 at Genesee Community College at 1:00 p.m. and also at Richmond Memorial Library at 7:00 p.m. On Friday, March 18 he will speak in Albion at the Hoag Library at 7 p.m. and Saturday, March 19 at 2 p.m. at the Perry Elementary/Middle School Auditorium in Perry.     Thank you to the restaurants, caterers and bakeries who donated to Dessert in the Stacks 2013. Tickets were sold out again this year! There will always be stories, songs, coloring and bubbles, but we also play games, use the flannel board (for stories and games), play shaker instruments, and sometimes even use the new super fun parachute. Storytime is a great place for children to meet new friends and to prepare for preschool or kindergarten. Limit of 15 children.
