Qu5: Comments/feedback I suspect many parents do not take the time to share their

views! No because it represents those that are interested in being

INVOLVED in the school but there are others who have opinions/views but do not voice them by getting in touch with parent council or attending meetings for whatever reason

Not many parents follow what goes on in PC and there is not enough feedback from the parent forum. PCs need to work hard to communicate aims and approaches to all parents and carers.

They don't have any communication with other parents, so how can they represent us?

Simply because lack of parent becoming involved. Not sure

or calling 0141 577 2600. 100% - Yes (21)

Responses (2):

Comments/feedback A newsletter from the parent council would be useful. It

could highlight the work carried out by the parent council and inform parents of ongoing issues

I was unable to fill in number 4 and 6 of the survey...

Page 16: Woodfarm Parent Council

Summary

However, the majority of the Parent Forum:

have never had a reason to contact the PC

Page 17: Woodfarm Parent Council

Ideas to consider moving forward

How can we improve feedback and communicate aims/ approaches to all parents and carers?

How can we ensure the PF know how to contact the PC?

How can we encourage better use of the PC website pages?

How can we get a higher response to future surveys?

Should we introduce new fundraising ideas?

Should we introduce a PC newsletter?
