From the depths of Marianas Trench to the heights of Mars and beyond, humankind is fuelled by the greatest energy sources of all: wonder, curiosity, and pure imagination. Technocity. ARCS’ 2018 Talent Show & Silent Auction is geared up and ready to take your submissions.

Entry Guidelines and Information

ARCS’ annual Talent Show is your chance to “strut your stuff” and pull out all the stops. Work collaboratively or by yourself, dare to cross the friendly borders between choirs and create a new ensemble. You are in charge, so choose something you enjoy!

February 2nd - Deadline for Talent Show Submissions

February 10th - Talent Show Auditions @ Altadore Baptist Church 9:30am - 4:30pm

March 3rd - Talent Show & Silent Auction @ THE GATEWAY, SAIT 7:30pm

ARCS TALENT SHOW 2018

The theme “Technocity” is a gadget lovers dream and there are no limits to the possibilities that exist. Whether your song incorporates or is about an actual piece of technology, or the broader scope of technology, we know it will be electric! Peruse the list of suggested titles or use innovation to come up with something new. If you would like to bounce an idea off of the Artistic Team, please feel free to approach any one of them.

Please keep in mind our changed guidelines from 2017. Any member may sing in a maximum of two acts in the Talent Show. The acts may include no more than one solo or duet.

The possibilities will be restricted to a maximum of:

• One solo and membership in one ensemble, or

• One duet and membership in one ensemble, or

• Membership in two ensembles

Please note that the guidelines specifically refer to “singing.” Therefore, a person may do something other than singing in a third act, such as musical accompaniment, acting or dancing.
