program Highlights• 22–7 record over the last two seasons• 13–2 record in 2010 — one of the best in the country• Consecutive CSAC Tournament appearances• 2010 Division III Statistical Leader in Goals per Game with 19.33• 2010 Division III Statistical Leader in Goals Scored — Megan Mars• 2010 and 2011 Division III Statistical Leader in Ground Balls — Kiti Ovaskainen• Danielle Bay’s unanimous selection to the 2011 All-CSAC First Team Midfield• 25 All-Conference CSAC selections and three IWLCA All-Region players• Meredith Bruce — 2011 All-CSAC First Team Attack

ACADEMIC SUCCESSCentenary Women’s Lacrosse is proud of the academic and leadership success of these fine scholar-athletes. The team’s GPA steadily remains over 3.3 with the Athletic Department’s highest team GPA’s in 2009 and 2008.

Out of a total of 45 players on the roster over the last 3 years, 32 have been named to an All-Academic Team. In 2010 Kiti Ovaskainen was Selected New Jersey Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (NJAIAW) Woman of the Year for her academic and lacrosse prowess.

In 2010, Leslie Pritchard won the prestigious Cardy Gemma Award given to a senior student-athlete who displayed outstanding leadership, academic and athletic success.

The women’s Lacrosse team has been a strong influence within the Council of Student-Athletes (CSA) with Lauren Lamotta serving as CSA President in 2011 and Kristen Wirasnik as Vice President in 2010.
