OVERVIEW• This power point talks about the
women during world war 2 and how they had to work the men’s jobs. It also talks about how the African Americans weren't treated fairly in the work force.

SIGNIFICANCE TO WAR
• Millions of Americans men had been drafted into war.
• There was no one back home to work there jobs so the women had to work all of there jobs.
• This gave both British and American women the opportunity and courage to challenge the male prejudice, and establish a new social order.

• During WWII women weren’t the only ones going through discrimination.
• African Americans where also having a rough time during the war.
• During war African Americans thought that it would bring them more job opportunities.
• But just like women they stressed for fair employment .
