Impact and Influence: Developing Impactful Leadership through Resilience and Authenticity

In a constantly evolving industry such as Energy and Resources, leaders must consistently refine their suite of skills to keep up with new directions of the organisation, but must also stay true to their core values and unique skills that differentiate themselves from others.

Authentic leaders endeavour to connect with themselves and others in order to lead with clarity and resolve. They do this by building awareness of their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and limitations. Despite this, clarity and resolve can be challenged by situations that present themselves full of ambiguity, complexity and contradiction. Authenticity can suddenly seem at odds when leading through such an unpredictable landscape.

In this interactive workshop, Sarah will help participants uncover their unique suite of skills and create a foundation for career advancement through authentic leadership. This workshop will help participants prepare for their leadership journey and build a solid foundation for transformational leadership and resilience during changing times.

Discovering your authenticity and what you offer

• Developing self-awareness in your leadership style

• Leading as yourself during times of ambiguity, challenge and change

• Drawing on your strengths

Despite ambitious initiatives focused on boosting female participation in the Energy and Resources industry, women remain significantly under represented. In a recent study in New Zealand, women currently make up only 2% of the resource market and the women who advance in the field often do so in relative isolation. Increasing female representation in Energy and Resources is an important strategy in combating the skills shortage in the industry. Succeeding as a female leader in such an environment is even more challenging – it requires talent, determination and the ability to navigate a complex and challenging male-dominated industry.

The Women in Energy and Resources Summit will explore and offer the practical strategies needed for a woman to excel in the industry. It will provide an opportunity for women in a variety of roles and organisations to meet and network with like-minded professionals in their sector. Participants will benefit from the practical advice of experienced leaders and will be able to compare experiences with others facing similar challenges. An outstanding speaker faculty will address a variety of topics, as they focus on proactive tools to strengthen your leadership capabilities and navigate a path to success.

This Summit is a must-attend for women currently in executive positions and those seeking to advance into leadership positions in the near future. Register team members early for this inspiring learning and networking opportunity!
