Upon venturing into the premi-um care car market 25 years ago,I suddenly realized my life-longpassion. I was fascinated bywaxes, paint sealants, leather con-ditioners; what goes into them,how and why they work, whichcombinations yield the best out-comes. In 1997, I launched theaward-winning Detailer's PrideProfessional Detailing Products,which has since evolved into DPAmerican Made Car CareProducts. After collaborating onthe development of PinnacleNatural Brilliance, I am now thesole proprietor of this completeline of car care products builtaround a pure carnauba wax.Both DP and Pinnacle have theirroots in car care tradition withcarnauba wax as their founda-tions. With all the innovations insurface care technology, I set outto design a collection of productsthat is purely engineered, thattakes advantage of moderniza-tions in car care. I reached thisgoal in 2004 with the introduc-tion of Wolfgang ConcoursSeries, a complete series of world-class car care products.

Wolfgang Concours Series wasresearched and developed overthe course of two years. My sen-ior chemist, the staff at theManufacturing Division of PalmBeach Motoring Accessories, andI set up stringent guidelines forthe development of new line thatwe would eventually introduce to

the car-loving public. Our collec-tive vision was of a complete lineof exclusive car care products thatwould be an exceptional valuebased on superb effectiveness,employing cutting-edge researchand development, encompassingall aspects of car care applications.But our foremost goal was thecreation of a paint sealant thatcould bridge the gap betweencarnauba waxes and long-lastingpaint sealants--combining theirmost desirable traits.

We became consumed withsuccessfully completing this mis-sion. We were confident but stillsearching for the one thing thatwould make our line truly out-standing in the automotive careworld. My lead chemist wasadamant that he must go toGermany where chemistsexcelled in state-of-the-art molec-ular science, leaps and boundsahead of the rest of the scientificworld. Here, in German laborato-ries, he would find the missinglink.

During the trips abroad, oneGerman chemist, WolfgangDeterman, became increasinglyinterested in our undertaking andwished to contribute his experi-ence and knowledge. The most thorough car shampoo cannot rinse away every last bit ofembedded residue and overspray that contaminates, and eventuallyeats away, at your car's paint. To get that show quality, silky-smooth fin-ish, twice a year you will need to follow the wash with a clay bar treat-ment. This step is essential to attain a pristine surface, especially desir-able before applying wax or paint sealant.

Wolfgang Finishing Glaze is a fine grade polish full of lubricating oilsand micro fine diminishing abrasives. It smoothes and brightens thepaint while eliminating any roughness that may have resulted fromswirl removal. The oils "wet" the paint to achieve a deep, liquid glossthat exceeds the results of wax alone. Use Finishing Glaze prior to theapplication of a wax or sealant for a stunning, high gloss shine.

Go over the lens sev-eral times in different directions until the polish starts to dry. Use amicrofiber towel to buff away the residue.
