  • Witnessing is meant to naturally flow out of your life. It

was never meant to become a program that we follow or a se-

ries of philosophical books on a plethora of strategies to evan-

    gelize.

    Witnessing the Holy Spirits Way

Way back in the book of Acts and before that in the very life

of Jesus, we get a picture of witnessing. Jesus and the Samari-

tan womanJesus simply initiates a short conversation and

declares that He is the Messiah she has been waiting for. Jesus

did not use a Heaven and Hell message here. There is nothing

wrong with those messages, but they are not appropriate for

    every situation. The Word says:

...of some have compassion, making a difference: And oth-

ers save with fear, pulling them out of the fire: hating even

the garmet spotted by the flesh. Jude 22-23

All through the book of Acts, we see the Apostles healing and

preaching in everyday life: on the street corners, in the Temple, in

homes, and in Synagogues (the churches of those who had a fearful

knowledge of God, but not the complete truth of God). Only after the

Church grew by thousands in this manner, did the Apostles begin to

carry own Evangelistic Movements (Philip in Samaria) and Mission-

    ary endeavors (Paul & Silas).

Dont stress about witnessing. Simply take the opportunities you

have. Perhaps youll stand on a street corner or go door to door

those are the types of things the Early Church did! Go and share.

The Holy Spirit will empower you. And there is a special empower-

ment of the Holy Spirit available when you receive Him with the evi-

dence of speaking in other languages. I encourage you to ask the Lord

for that special anointing and exhort you to remain faithful to Christ

and to firm standing in Faith in the Lord Jesus and the Bible.
