A very special night here at SPX is our annual Art Show and Open House. Each year the crowd seems to get bigger and bigger as we celebrate the great things that take place in our school. Standards based grading can authentically reflect student progress and learning. This practice focuses on student mastery of content and eliminates some of the obstacles of traditional grading. Please join us on Wednesday, January 20th from 7-8PM for a presentation on Standards Based Grading. There will be speakers representing the Diocese, Bishop Hartley and a local elementary school.

No School There will be no school for students and staff on Monday, January 18 in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Classes resume and the office reopens on Tuesday, January 19. Enjoy the long weekend!

Progress Reports Posted The 2nd report period ended today. Progress reports will be posted on School Speak Wednesday, January 27. The beginning of a new grading period is a great opportunity for students to set goals for the second half of the school year. The third report period closes Thursday, March 24.

Winter Weather Update

The winter weather is upon us. We will post on the school website, send an email blast and notify local television, the information for school delays or closings as soon as we are notified by the Superintendant of Reynoldsburg Schools. We follow Reynoldsburg Schools for delays and closings due to weather. Please make sure your information on School Speak (our data base) is updated.

Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, February 4 and Tuesday, February 9. An informational letter was sent home with the students today regarding the online sign up for conferences. Please check those backpacks!
