UPDATING WITBOX FIRMWARE FROM CURA

Configuring your Witbox (simple extruder)

Open the configuration of your printer. To do that, you will have to select the machine which you configured when installing Cura (in this case, Witbox) and go to Machine>Machine settings...

Check the dimensions of the platform and configure the USB port. For an extruder Witbox the configuration is the following:

Maximun width (mm): 297

Maximun depth (mm): 210

Maximun height (mm): 200

Extruder count: 1

Gcode Flavor: RepRap (Marlin/Sprinter)

To configure the USB connection, select the characteristics of the section Communication settings:

Serial port: COM1, COM2... (select the port of your printer)

Baudrate:115200

You must leave the other options unmarked or at zero.

When it is configured, press OK and go again to Machine>Install custom firmware...

Select the precompiled firmware that you wish to install.

You can download it from the downloading website of the Witbox: http://www.bq.com/descargas-witbox.html

Installing the new firmware

The firmware of the Witbox will update itself. This operation can take several seconds.

Firmware correctly updated

This message will appear when the installation of the firmware has been completed.
