To all of our Fair friends,

Making you happy is more than a job, it isan immeasurable joy.

Today would have been the opening day ofthe Fair and though the Fairgrounds isempty, it is alive with memories of peoplelaughing, music and applause from theGrandstand, children in the carnival, horsesand steer in the livestock barn and so muchmore.

We wish you were here but more than that,we hope that the memories that you havemade at the fair over the years are yourhappiest ones and that they will last

The bi-partisan legislation, if passed and signed into law, would providegrant funding to rescue fairs from an uncertain future.
