WHY ??? ROBOTIC ARM …

In the cryopreservation chamber the tissues are maintained at a particular temperature and hygiene maintenance is also of utmost importance. Human intervention needs to be avoided as much as possible.

RFID communication is used to control robot.

WHAT IS STEM CELL AND CRYOPRESERVATION?

Stem cells are unspecialized cells that have two defining properties: the ability to differentiate into other cells and the ability to self-regenerate.

Cryopreservation is the preservation of any living tissue at low temperature. This can include anything from human tissues to vegetables. It is basically used for preserving living tissues which need to be surgically implanted or transplanted to a human.

TYPES OF ROBOTIC ARM….

Cartesian robot :handling machine tools and arc welding

Cylindrical robot: : It's a robot whose axes form a cylindrical coordinate system.

Spherical robot : Used for handling at

machine tools, spot welding, die-casting & gas welding.

SCARA ROBOT ARM….

Used for pick and place work,

application of sealant, assembly operations and handling machine tools.

It's a robot which has two parallel rotary joints to provide compliance in a plane

WIRELESS COMMUNICATION….

Wireless communication is the transfer of information over a distance without the use of electrical conductors or "wires”

Short or long distance IR Zigbee Bluetooth

DC MOTOR….

DC motors have stator and rotor This motor is used to move the vehicle in forward/reverse direction The input of this motor is 12V DC.The battery is connected to this motor Motor forward and reverse operation are

performed by motor driver IC which is controled by micro controller.

Page 19: Wireless Pick and Place Robot

STEPPER MOTOR DRIVER (ULN 2003)

The main issues with the motors are its control operations such as speed, direction ,space required and low power requirement

motor can be drive using single driver IC (L293D)

Motor rotation depends on the each of the four inputs

APPLICATIONS….

This vehicle is used to supply bullets and first aid kits to the soldiers in army fields.

Material Handling, Spray Painting, Welding etc

As this vehicle is implemented with wireless camera , it can be used as watchman, it will detect any fast moving objects.

Page 21: Wireless Pick and Place Robot

ADVANTAGES OF ROBOTICS….

IT reduces human work load

It is mainly used for military applications

It can be used to supply bullets and first aid kits for soldiers.

It can be used as defense system which captures live images.

Page 22: Wireless Pick and Place Robot

DISADVANTAGES

They are expensive.

They have specified duties. They can only do what they have been ordered to do.

Page 23: Wireless Pick and Place Robot

SCOPE FOR FURTHER DEVELOPMENT….

This vehicle can be implemented with high night vision camera, radars.

The vehicle can be made more compact.

It can be implemented with solar panels.

CONCLUSION…

The robot is very useful in military at the times of war where supervising the enemy territory is very risky for human life.

Since the risk of human being life is more in war field using this application we can reduce the risk and damage that were caused at the time of war.

In Mining & Nuclear Power Plants robots are very helpful

CONTI

What is easy for a human is hard for robots. Adapting to new situations. Flexible to changing requirements. Synthesizing unrelated information. Creativity.
